Virtual Dedicated Servers (VDS) / Virtual Private Servers (VPS)
Can't quite afford a Linux Dedicated Server yet? But need root access, and total control? Then our
Linux VDS (Virtual Dedicated Server), AKA Linux VPS (Virtual Private Server) Solution powered by User Mode Linux (UML) is for you.
Having a VDS/VPS plan powered by UML is just like having a Dedicated server; at just a fraction of the cost.
You can even choose between a Gentoo, Debian, Slackware, Fedora Core, or Redhat OS. And we use the latest
in Virtual Private Server technology giving you the ability to choose from our list of operating systems, install what ever your
need, all the way to rebooting the server using the root user account.
Try our Gentoo, or Debian VDS. There our most popular distros!

VDS/VPS Explained:
You can do anything with our Linux VDS/VPS UML packages as you can with a real Dedicated Server.
The only difference is that instead of having a physical machine. You share your virtual private server
with a limited number of other accounts.
VDS/VPS creates a much more secure, and reliable enviornment than normal shared hosting.
If a VDS/VPS on the same physical machine crashes; it will not affect other accounts because
each VDS/VPS has its own file system.
| * | Minimum Reserved CPU - The amount of CPU reserved for your VDS. Note that this is the very minimum, and that you VDS will normally be able to burst to 100% of the available CPU. |
| ** | VPS to Server Ratio - The ratio between the number of VDS's on a hypothetical Dual Xeon 2.2GHz Machine. |
